Some pictures of the LG Fantasy E740, a Windows phone handset from the Korean manufacturer have cropped up online and appears to be a handset formerly known as the Miracle.
The pictures show a device that is very thin, appears to be a prototype and features the ScanSearch and SmartShare apps which are exclusive to the LG Optimus 7.
According to GSM Arena, who were sent the pictures, the device will be announced in Q1, most likely at Mobile World Congress during an event to be held on the 25th of February.
The rumoured specifications so far include a 4-inch WVGA Nova display, a 1GHz single core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, a five megapixel camera with flash and front facing VGA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and possibly NFC functionality.
Whether LG will place the LG Fantasy at the lower end of the market remains to be seen. But given that the Nokia Lumia 710 and the ZTE Tania can be had from ?200 with similar/superior configurations, one would expect LG to be competitive on pricing.
